SAMPARC is non-profit making Public Charitable Trust in India established in 1990 for the rehabilitation, care and educational development of orphan children, children of sex workers and all other needy, poor and disadvantaged children.
Bhambarde project is developing in a wonderful way. Every time we come to this place, we see a lot of changes. e were happy to see flowers and other plants have been planted all over the site
of orphan children for achieving a standard level. We thrive to promote training for skill development of School dropouts, education for the needy children and strengthening the rural women to overcome their problems. This medical centre at Malavli, started with an objective to provide medical services & primary help to the poor rural & tribal people who are deprived of basic medical facilities. This centre is covering 30 remote villages. Services like Pathological & X-ray Unit has also been started to meet the objective to support the rural poor. Rotary Club of Midtown, Mumbai has helped SAMPARC to install these units.
The medical center at Malavli Campus has a Dispensary & Village Visit Programme. The village medical check ups and regular visits have brought good results among the community. Two Doctors and two Paramedical Staff are working at this centre.
The Medical Centre at Malavli is very helpful for the people from the surrounding 40 villages. These villages comprise of population of about 35,000 out of which 3,500 women are already connected with the Self Help Group through SAMPARC Women Empowerment Programme. Due to the initiatives of these women, SAMPARC started the community health support programme. Under this programme, SAMPARC undertakes awareness programs on safe drinking water, smokeless oven, improved mother & child care practices, nutrition, sanitation & hygiene, water-born diseases, use of medicines to tackle various health problems and various preventive health care issues.
